Euchre Tournament

General Rules:

• Each player will play for themsleves
• Each game will last 15 minutes or until the score reaches 10, whichever comes first
• If the number of people playing is not multiple of 4, some players will sit out each round. You may sit out only once. You will receive 7 points for the rounds that you sit out.

House Rules:

• "Stick the dealer" applies. Dealer must choose trump if everyone else declines. 
• A card laid is a card played. Once it leaves your fingers, it cannot be switched. 
• A player may order, assist, or pick up with anything (a natural trump is not required) 
• Please no table talk of any kind. i.e no giving players any indication of what cards a player holds.
• The top 3 places will win and be paid. If there is a tie, pots will be split evenly amoung winners. 

Scoring:

• 1 point for 3 tricks, 2 points for 5 tricks
• 2 points for Renege, 2 points for a Euchre
• 4 points for "loner", 2 points for Euchre on a "loner"
• For loners: 2 points for Euchre, 4 points for Renege
• To determine the first deal of the game, cards will be dealt face up until a player receives any Jack. That player then becomes the dealer; from there, the deal rotates clockwise each hand. 
• For any irregularities or situational calls, there will be an on-site referee making final, official calls kept consistent across all games being played. 

Registration 6:15-7:00, Games will start at 7:00 SHARP. 6 Games will be Played.
